This week I had the chance to chat with more than one person for our classmate conversations. We all hung together in a group which was cool and I got to speak with Salina Chavez and Marie Mendez. They are both juniors here at CSULB. Marie is undeclared and Salina is majoring in child development and minoring in recreation. She works at the YMCA as an assistant director. She gets to work with kids, which is fitting since her major is child development.
She loves to go out on the weekends and she has 7 tattoos. She explained them all in detail and most of them were about her family, which is really nice. As she was talking, I could tell that she was very family-oriented and was passionate about them.
